Which fixed blade knife is the best? and Why?

Depends on the intended use. There is not one knife for all things. I feel the bowie and puukko/leuko knives tick a lot of boxes. My daily carry is a small 2.5" puukko style blade, I can legally carry it in all US cities (some areas have a 3 or 3.5" limit on "concealed" knives), and I often just carry a small box cutter instead. When camping, I reach for a leuko or hunter style.
